Default Yosemite

I've been running Reaper on Yosemite for a few years with no problems. I don't want to upgrade to HS yet because of the bugs. So two questions:

1. Is there an optimal OS X for the Reaper 5.91?

2. Is 5.91 compatible with Yosemite?

Assuming that your current system is still working fine without problems, are there any specific reasons why you might consider doing an OS upgrade, in general?

Not really. The only reason is to just keep current and the fact that I just upgraded to the latest version of Reaper and Soundtoys.

I, more or less, would like to hear a voice of reason as to why I should or should not, if that make sense. If I don't have to than I won't.
