Default REAPER, Kontakt & multiple MIDI controllers

Quick question about the possibility of using multiple MIDI controllers in REAPER/Kontakt.

I own a M-Audio Keystation 61. It's a really simple controller with the bare minimum, which means no pads or faders (but the semi-weighted keys are great).

Let's say I would like to add a small Fader MIDI controller on the side to control dynamics and vibrato while I'm playing strings, would I be able to use both the Keystation and the Fader controller at the same time in Kontakt?

The easy way would be to just get a more extensive keyboard controller, but a little Fader controller would be a lot cheaper. ;P

Maybe I should add that both controllers would be USB, so different inputs.

Yes, you can. But a track can only have one MIDI device as its input.

You could use the Keystation as the MIDI Input to play the notes into Kontakt. And the Fader MIDI controller to automate Kontakt's parameters (not MIDI CC automation).

Hmm, I usually work in multi. So that means I'd end up with around 16 automation tracks on my Kontakt instance (2 automations per instrument). I think my workflow would get kinda messy and confusing. I guess a new controller would be the optimal way to go.
