Default Is there a way to control Reaper's transport from a plugin?

Is there a way to control Reaper's transport controls from inside a plugin?

It's just for internal work, so it doesn't need to be usable to public. I'd like to be able to tell the DAW to go to a certain timestamp from the plugin.

I found I can use a MIDI loopback to have the plugin control play/record. Can I do the same thing with curser location? Or create markers?

Use the Reaper API

in iPlug2 we have a special base class for REAPER-only vst2

oh wow. There's access to pretty much any function I could think of. This is perfect.
