Default v5.941/x64 - Note Properties midi length [SOLVED]

Midi note length doesnt seem to be changing to the value that I input. For example, if the value is 0.0.480 and I change it to 0.0.48 it is different (and seems to change to 0.0.0048 or something). It seems like I need to input a certain amount of integers for the intended length. Changing the midi Grid, Snap to Grid, nor Track Timebase dont seem to have an affect.

- Create a new midi item
- Open the MIDI editor
- Insert some notes
- Select notes
- Open (Multiple) Note Properties dialog
- Change Length

am i missing something here or is this a bug

The periods in the note length do not imply decimal values; instead, they are just separators for measures.beats.ticks (or measures.beats.100ths, depending on your settings in Options -> Time format).

So 0.0.48 is different from 0.0.480: 48 ticks versus 480 ticks.

960 ticks equals one quarter (if the PPQ of that MIDI item is 960), so if you enter 0.0.960, it is equal to 0.1.000.
