Rendering goes to +335Dbs all black - pls Help!

I imagine I've gotten some preference set incorrectly. When I'm trying to render the DB amount goes +335 Dbs and it's all black. Just inf volume apparently. I cannot get any other response. I tried reinstalling. Appreciate advice.

I'm making some headway it seems - all the DBs come from having imported a drumtrac from Superior drummer... deleted and normalcy returned!
