Default Tracks in folders in mixer

I have set up a folder for drums, containing tracks for kick, snare, toms etc, routed from Jamstix.

All is working fine.

However, I don't normally want my mixer cluttered with the extra tracks. I was thinking I would just open the folder if I ever wanted to do some adjustment.

I can collapse the tracks on the left side of the screen easily, but I can't seem to do the same in the mixer.

There is an option in the mixer "Show tracks that are in folders" - I have un-checked that. However, it only seems to hide one track - the remainder sit there still.

Am I doing something wrong, or is Reaper?

Deselecting the "Show tracks that are in folders" option in the Mixer should hide everything but the Folder Track from the Mixer.

Might be worth checking which Track is set as the last Track in Folder ...

Mystery solved I think.

The folder was set OK. However, "Show tracks that have receives" was checked. As most tracks in the folder had receives, they showed up.

Makes sense.

Unchecking fixed it.

Thanks for the help.

Odd, though. By the same logic, I would expect that re-checking "Show tracks that are in folders" would make them show up again - but it doesn't.

The "Show tracks that have receives" option takes precedence. I would have expected that if either was checked, the tracks that fit the criteria would be displayed.

Err, yes, I would expect the same thing ...
