Default Scrolling issues with trackpad

So I've amidst a transition from Pro Tools to Reaper for mixing purposes. So far so good, I managed to overcome some major hurdles. One that keeps eating up my time though is that I can't really get a nice scrolling and zooming action on the trackpad of my Macbook.

I started working on that issue by changing some of the actions and building the maneuvering system by scratch. What's really bad though is the action of the scrolling in the Mix Window. Just a few millimeters of movement results in something like 20 tracks being jumped over. I was hoping to get it not only slower, but also more fluid, just if I was to scroll in a browser.

Is there anything I can do for that?

In general check out the Multitouch options under Preferences > General > Keyboard/Multitouch

Or try to post your question also into the dedicated macOS section (since you might get more responses from other Macbook users there): https://forum.cockos.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34
