Default Mega power drumkit

Ok what am I doing wrong? When I record mtpdk it records fine and I here it. It also puts the midi lines on the track. When I go back to the project the lines are there but no sound.

You have to open up that VST and click "Skip", otherwise it's muted. Only permanent workaround is to make a donation:

Just to clarify:

Did you do this step (again) after loading the project?
Because it's required to press SKIP in the mtpdk plugin (once) every time a project containing this plugin is loaded.

Haven`t used MTPDS2 in a while but I just checked.

Opening an existing project & adding MTPD2 does put up the donate window with the skip button.
Click on the skip button once and it all works.

I then saved the project, reopened it & sure enough the window comes up, press skip and it all works.

It`s pretty much an even gentler version of unlicensed reaper`s nag screen.

However.
This sounds more like you have the record monitor button (triangular icon in the drum in each TCP track) set to "record".
Try setting it to either auto or off and see if you can then hear what you recorded.
