Default Exclusive solo

Is it possible when say you have 5 tracks soloed and you then exclusively solo one of them AND THEN also do some effects processing on that track, to then return to just the 5 soloed tracks with one action. Without the FX processing it's easy just to Ctrl-Z but once you've processed a track that would obviously undo all the processing. Is there an action for this please?

You could use grouped solo buttons I guess but I think you are over-engineering the 'problem'. Just solo the other tracks by hand in 2-5 seconds?

Not at all, I think it's a good question. I pondered it and wrestled with it but couldn't come up with an answer.

I was wondering if it might be possible to do this with SWS extensions uisng snapshots, but decided that was too much like taking a proverbial sledgehammer to the proverbial nut.
