Maybe it was a one time as i couldn't re create this bug

1.In a running session i went to hive vst's and executed the command
show track envelope of the last touched parameter via binded hotkey{alt+1}
i wen't ahead to draw an empty midi item via Ctrl+ let drag . but the tool
hung and did not modify to the arrow key instead kept showing me the range
tool { the tool that looks like a capital I }
i closed and restarted the session and tried to recreate the bug did not
come back . just updating in case this helps
