Default increase-decrese midi velocity,

I been searching the manual to find the increase/decrese midi velocity, i want to see the 1-127 in the Velocity..."editor" is that possible?

I know it possible to se it on the notes, but its a hassle to zoom so much in on the notes to see the 1-127

Could you explain a bit more what you mean by 'see the 1-127 in the Velocity..."editor"'?

* You can see the velocities by opening the CC lane area at the bottom and setting the lane to Velocity. You can also show velocity handles on notes, color notes by velocity, or use a script such as the MIDI Inspector.

* You can change velocities by drawing in the Velocity lane, by opening Properties and typing velocity values, or by using actions such as "Edit: Increase value a little bit for CC events".

There are several nice tutorials on Youtube for REAPER's MIDI editing.

I see your dilemma John, and it would be nice to have what you have in your picture available, maybe down the road.

However, there is a box that sits right above the piano roll that does show the velocity as you change it in the CC lane.

Humm, you don't have to be a perfectionist, the velocity numbers mean a lot to me, and it's not just the sound. I've got several Kontakt instruments that use the velocity of a Keyswitch to determine various things, like the amount of pitch a note will have from 1 to 64 or 64 to 127.

My steel program uses the velocity of the notes to determine which string on the steel is used.

Actually, I use the velocity numbers to determine what I hear, because I know by the numbers what's going to happen.
