Default (New member) bass, looking to set-up jam

I've recently discovered this's what I've been looking for a long time!
I'm an ex-semi-professional bass player who's been out of the band thing for a few years (day job, wife& kids) but am itching to get jamming again. I've been trying to keep my sanity learning some different kinds of music and instruments (banjo, violin, theremin) but am dying to get rocking again!!
I'd like to get in contact with a guitarist and drummer to get some stuff going.
I can send some recordings(with myself on bass, acoustic guitar and vocals) if you'd like to hear my style...blues-hard-rock (Hendrix meets early Sabbath?) is what I enjoy flailing on in a jam situation, but am open to suggestions.
I'm open every weeknight and weekends wouldn't be a problem if it's something important(recording).
Anyone out there?

Default Cool

Welcome to Ninjam- I guess the best thing to do is just to log
on to the client and start playing with the other musicians. It may take some time to get used to the full measure apart from the other folks, but it will "click" after a few bars. I am like you-day job, wife and kids, but this is the perfect solution to keeping your chops in great form and to meet new musicians. Again, welcome!
Music forces one into the psychological state of the composer, nothing more nothing less.

Perhaps you're the one for our virtual band at
We still need a bassplayer for some live gigs there.
Read this tread for some information about:

If you're interested contact me or Jazz Glineux at Secondlife.
