Default "Fit Project to Window" command?

I'm used to doing 'Shift F' every now and then in Sonar to tidy things up as I'm working, symmetrically resizing the height and length of tracks. I can't seem to find a way of doing this with the Zoom commands in Reaper. Is there a way?
Many thanks!

John

Have a look at the View: Zoom out project Action from the Action List.

Or maybe check out some suggestions mentioned here (Custom Action, double-clicking on the Scrollbars): https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=72891

horizontally Ctrl-Page Down
vertically depends on the TCP layout and actual trackheight
but you can zoom out easily with CTRL - Mousewheel
or holding Ctrl-Shift down

I could use this too...in Sonar 'F' key was 'fit to screen' - showed all tracks vertically and all media items horizontally. I use this all the time. The View: Zoom out project Action does the horizontal but not the vertical. I'm guessing this will require a custom Action (still very new to Reaper, learning)?

Ah. Answering own questions...

From the other thread indicated above:

I made a macro using "Select all items" -> "SWS: Horizontal zoom to selected items" -> "SWS: Vertical zoom to selected items" -> "Unselect all items" and bound it to Shift+F - works just like Sonar.

Thanks a lot.
That'll do...now how to make macros...sheesh, all the learning you get to do when switching DAWs. Haha.

Here's my custom action for this

SWS: Save current track selection
View: Zoom out project
Track Select all tracks
Envelope: Hide all envelopes for tracks
SWS: Vertical zoom to selected tracks
SWS: Restore saved track selection

Of course, you can remove the "hide envelopes" bit if you want. I also have a variant that removes time selection too.

Oh, that's even better. Do you find that there is sometimes an imperfect vertical zoom with the 'SWS: Vertical zoom to selected tracks' command? I've only been using it for a day, but have had some *unuseful results.

*EDIT. I should say that I love how it keeps tracks vertically proportionally scaled, but it often requires additional vertical scaling.
