MOD and Learn buttons on env lane won't show.

I am customizing my env lanes in TCP view.

For some reason, the MOD and LEARN buttons on the env lane controls will not show. In the theme rtconfig, these controls refers to the "envcp.learn" and "envcp.mod" elements. All other env buttons do work.

I have been checking the rtconfig for process order and doubles, and settings which cancels each other out, until my eyes bleed. I cannot seem to figure out why these two controls will not show up on the env lane.

Anyone care to lend a braincell?
Are there any other locations in Reaper where you can set the visibility of these controls?
I'm using Reaper 5.61 on windows10 x64.

Ooh *facepalm* they show up when you put a plugin on the track and try to automate it. They don't show by default.

Nah man, its far from obvious.

It was once explained to me why these aren't available for Reaper controls. My mind has flawlessly retained the knowledge that the reasons were very, very good. My mind has, however, chosen to not retain the reasons themselves. But they were very, very good
