Default How do I bring up my BFD mixer channels?

Hello

As many of you probably know, the BFD drum VSTi has multiple output channels (17 total when using the "BFD All" option). How do I show these in the mixer? The VSTi page says it has 17 Outs, it even has a context menu for each of these, but the only options are "Send to track channel 1" and "Send to track channel 2". Your help is greatly appreciated

Doug

(first post BTW)

Hi Doug,
welcome to the Reaper forums.
Here's a track template by Jason Brian Merril for setting up BFD as a Multiout VSTi:

http://www.cockos.com/forum/showpost...8&postcount=23

and a smaller version apparently:

http://www.cockos.com/forum/showpost...6&postcount=25

and yet another one:

I think it's worth studying the template and specially the Routing Matrix after loading these. That way you'll learn how to do multioutput VSTi routing quickly.
It's also worth mentionning the great manual written by a Reaper user, named Nicholas,
which you can find it HERE.

Regards
Raphael

Thank you guys for the help -- I'm following that wiki article to the letter but for some reason it's not working -- it sounds like I'm getting the Master Output of thr BFD sent to every channel I set up

Let me play around with it, and also look closely at those templates

Thanks again

Okay, I figgered it out. Kind of a clunky thing to set up, but once done can be saved as a template, check

Cheers doug, yes it's me

I've had my share of problems with Cubase and was just fed up with the way Steiny treats their users, no recent updates, give us one, take back two politics etc.

Nice to see some more SX'ers 'round here
