Default Lock Items to Timecode?

Hi!

I've been using Reaper on and off for years and pretty much fully switched over a few years back. Before that I worked to picture a lot using Logic and really liked syncing up DX/MX/MIX tracks in longer projects. I got quite accustomed to locking these files to timecode, so when I went back to resync/re-structure a cue they would stay in sync and move with the tempo changes I made.

Is there a convenient way to do this in Reaper? I feel as if I'm missing something really obvious as this DAW seems endlessly flexible/customizable. I'm using the slick "Script:cfillion_Set timecode at edit cursor" action, which I really like, but am having a bit of trouble with the aforementioned process.

Thanks for your help!

Hmm, perhaps I can approach this in a different way. (Still curious about locking items to timecode rather than "time")

For those of you who are syncing to timestamped picture in Reaper (particularly those who are former Logic users, or anyone!) what is your method/workflow?

Hi,
Don't do much video work but,
If all the items are audio, go to time base in project settings and select time.
For midi you have to set the item to ignore tempo.
I know...I used to use logics lock to SMPTE to do tempo maps.
Hope this works for you.
