Yes - the two folders go in /Reaper/Scripts/LBX/LBXCS_Resources/
So the contents of Timbral's controls folder (from the zip) goes in the LBXCS_Resources/controls folder.
The contents of the graphics folder goes in the LBXCS_Resources/graphics folder.

Like the idea - but the problem I see with this is - if you load it into a subset that it was not created from, or has been altered in any way (say by deleting a control) - you'll get a tonne of random nonsense. Would be interesting as a randomizing feature though - lol.
It would have to be an 'on your own head be it' sort of feature - I guess I could add fx/parameter name storing when you export the data - which could be used when re-importing to a degree to at least try and assign the imported data to the correct parameters...
I can see it being useful if you shared a strip - but without loads of snapshots - then the snapshots could be shared amongst users and loaded in - but like I said - one single control change in a strip will render the 'snapshot' no longer a real snapshot as something will be missing.
So it might be possible - but with caveats like you don't change the strip before importing any subset snapshots.
Still snowed under with Smart Knobs and a few other requests outstanding on Stripper at the moment - but will look into when the time does arrive.

Thank you its very clear explanation! i fully understand!
if make sense
i was thinking to use with my latest drum strips,
so fixed Strips with the current controls .. they will never change .. like hardware drum machines
i didn't realize of sharing the subsets between users though but i love it!

It's been awhile, but I've started designing a new LBX Strip.
One thing noticed ... when pre-selecting a Knob [to assign it], then dragging in a Parameter for the next Knob ... everything works EXCEPT that the FONT is not assigned. thereby having to manually assign it.
Not a biggy ... but just wanted to mention.
Thanks

Good to hear from you.
Wow - cannot believe that's not been spotted before - maybe nobody ever changes control fonts?
Anyway - such an easy fix - done in 0.94.0095

Well just a little fix this time.
Hmmm. Shouldn't be an issue with the font size though - How were you adding the controls?

Question for the GURU's ...
In building a new STRIP for an up-coming N4 release ... there has also been some new Parameters exposed for N4. They now give access to the WET/DRY Knob [in Reaper].
With this, I see opportunity to finally have a type of BYPASS-On/Off type feature. [thus avoiding the PDC re-cal jump that happens when hard bypassing N4.
So ... following my logic [scary], I used a 'BUTTON' for that assignment. The Button did switch the Wet/Dry to each extreme position ... however, the Button's visual State did not change [lit/un-lit].
Is there a work-around/solution to allow a BUTTON control a something as a linear valued control to switch from the extreme values ... and still have the Strip BUTTON show that STATUS ?
does that make sense ?
thanks

Hi RJ, the Off/Byp/Wet controls work great here.
https://imgur.com/a/Yh8azFi
Attached is an example of one of those controls.
Left click toggles Wet/Dry
Shift-left click toggles bypass
Control-left click toggles offline
Right-click to open a menu where you can link the button to multiple plugins, so you can make a macro to toggle your whole N4 chain at the same time

OK ... That WORKS !
Follow up question please ...
If I want to make a custom button, say. What are the specs to do this ?
From what I see ... all Buttons are 2-State. This one looks to be 4-States.
Any more details appreciated as I try to understand this type of function.
Note: I've not tried any of the other mentioned Button 'Options'. They look very useful ... but this Control is new to me, so stuff to learn.
Thanks Guys !

Wow ... Thanks timbralzoom !!
And now I see the Multi-Function ability of this Control.
Very Cool ... and quite Useful.
OK ... I still need to see if I know HOW to make one of these, and then HOW to do the Configurations.
I looked inside the .knb file. Its set to Ctltype=2. Just like any other Button.
Your Control Button does W/D, BYPASS, and OFFLINE. These are all different Parameter Controls. That's also something I need to figure out.
When I RT-CLK on this Control Button ... all I see is a Sub-Menu for CURRENT TRACK. Don't see any configuration stuff.
OK ... I know ... so many questions. Part of the issue is that I've been away from STRIPPER for awhile ... hey ... its' been busy !
Anyway ... thank You for all the help !

Happy to help, RJ! Not sure what you mean by configuration. Do you mean how to link one button to multiple instances?

Ah ... you know what ... I think what I'm seeing different must be something new in STRIPPER [to me]. I don't recall seeing the OFF/WET/BYP parameter available. Now I see it with other plugins beside N4.
I thought this was new to N4 :|
Or ... maybe, it's been there the whole time. [ah, that last brain cell has taken a beating or two].
I will reserve/hold question till after someone can edumacate me
thx

just updated to 0095
seems text size issue also fixed!
EDIT:
TOL moment
i think it wasn't selecting the Calibri font by default at the first place ..
it was selecting Calibri after restart the Stripper?
anyway, now gone

Quite possible that if the font wasn't being explicitly copied then it had an effect on what was displayed (probably wrong font - perhaps Arial - which is very close to Calibri in appearance - but displays a little bigger IIRC. So if this has fixed it - then great. If you notice anything odd or it doesn't appear fixed - let me know.

Hi T,
I got messed up trying to use a standard, 2-frame BUTTON. Did not realize the OFF/BYP/WET parameter needed a 4-frame Button. Probably why I never used it before.
Anyway ... I then tested with the BUTTON shown in latest Vid ... and it also worked.
What was confusing when I used a 2-frame Button, the WET/DRY knob DID switch to extreme positions ... but the Strip Button Status light did not. That still doesn't make sense [logically], but so be it ... I just need to KnobMan a 4-frame Button and test that.
Always ... Thanks for all the Help !

wahoo, that script seems to really be something powerfull!
May I ask, is it still under active developpement ? Is it stable enough yet ?
I really dig the stripper as being part of my future live rig.
Thanks a lot for the sharing anyway! It seems awesome 😀

A big yes to all your questions. I've used it in every project for years now. It has been very stable for me... REAPER itself crashes a lot more than Stripper does

Timbral or Arthur ... or
Question on those 4-frame Buttons.
I've only seen 2-frame ones in KnobMan ... my question is, what
goes on with the 2 'inner' frames ? Are they ever seen when using the
different key combos?
If so ... is there an Order to be aware of ?
I mean, with a 2-frame BUTTON ... there are only 2 conditions to design for.
If a 4-frame .knob file is floating around that I could see in KnobMan ... that
might clear things up.
THanks again !

you can change the document Size
&
layer colors, texts
or add your images to the last four layers
let me know hows going

Apart from the DRY/WET/BYP/OFFLINE buttons - you could also use a 4 frame button with a CYCLE control that has 4 states.
The 'cellh' value in the knob file would simply be the total PNG height divided by 4, and frames set to 4.

OK ... it looks like the MASK - Second Mask - RANGE is key.
I've just started to look at that section ... trying to understand how to determine those Values [START, STOP] for each 'cell'.
Will look/experiment with this later.
Thanks !

just a cosmetic TOL moment .. nothing important-serious-urgent.
is this type of option possible in the control inspector?
select where the text will stick (X position)
alongside the current "Middle" also Left & Right?
so we can adjust positions of
multiple Control Names/Values at once to left/right/middle
i hope pict. make sense

Hi TZ,
Are those labels? Or what type of control.
Labels probably cannot be done because they would require a bounding box in order for alignment left or right to be possible.
If a control - it may be possible to align left and right of the control box width - but the way the text is drawn - it may be quite difficult and/or require extra code in the graphics routines to work out position.
I'll have to think on it.
