Timecode on Video is not matching rulers

Hello Reaper users,

I hope someone of you can help me.

I imported a video, checked the fps (24),

- set the project settings correctly,
- set the user ruler time unit to Hours: Minutes: Seconds: Frames
and the
- secondary user ruler time a Minutes: Seconds.

But

- The timecode of the video is at 00: 00: 7: 11
- The user ruler time unit Hours: Minutes: Seconds: Frames is at 00.00: 06: 13
- The secondary user ruler time a Minutes: Seconds. is at 00.00: 6.552

timecode on video and timecode on rulers does not match.

I really don't know what to do.

I was in too much of a hurry to write this post and I apologize.

But the sense of the first post is correct.
Tempo is marked at 120 BPM.
The time that was to be marked was instead of 160,256

But the situation is the same: timecode on video and timecode on rulers does not match.

I made the comparison with 3 other DAWs where the time code matches the ruler perfectly.

Why not in Reaper?

Hi. I do have perfectlty matched time codes here. Seems like you have peroject or video time code offset, so one of them starts not with 00:00:00:00 (there's 22 frames offset somewhere)

- Timebase for items/envelopes/markers: time
- Timebase for tempo/time signature envelope: beats
- Project start time: 0.000
- Project start measure: 1

Right clicking on the file > Media Properties

- there is a voice >>> Snap offset : 0:00.000

SITUATION

timecode on video and timecode on rulers does not match

BUT

The ruler of the item set to Source H:M:S:F
MATCHES
the video time code...

I use capital letters only for a better graphical view

SOLVED

I made the mistake to import the movie and after this set "Project Settings" to "time"
So the in "media item properties" play rate was not on 1.000000 but on 1.523110
