Default [SOLVED] Video render doesn't keep audio

Hi,

I'm having troubles to get video rendered with the audio.

Here is a short gif showing the issue : https://imgur.com/a/Offh7rY

Export seems to work but while i'm re-importing the created file into reaper, I have no sound. And of course, VLC plays the video but also got no sound.

Any ideas ?

What you show I have done multiple times lately, and never had a problem with MOV/MP4 and AAC as audio format. With mp3, the latest versions (4.3.0, 4.3.1) of ffmpeg do not work (https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=245135) but the only issue I have had with AAC is bad encoding (https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=245023).

One thing though... in my case AAC is not in sync with the video, a short part in the beginning is missing (https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=245086). Maybe the audio is delayed so much in your case that the short part you render doesn't reach a point where it starts? No, that cannot be it... in my case delays are in the 12-15 ms, and you render 14 seconds, I see now.

But anyway, try an older version of ffmpeg. I use now 4.2.2, and it seems this also solved a problem similar to yours here https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=240721

Hi Fabian,

Thanks for your reply, I investigate futher and yes, you were right, the culprit is FFMPEG version. So I'm now trying to get the 4.2.4 but can't find a link to this version as the new stable is 4.3.1. Please could you send me your DLL files as I could put them into my REAPER plugin folder ?

regards
