Default Newb, solo mute confusion

We already know that video games, whether action games or otherwise, help to improve the hand-eye coordination of players. Psychologists also attribute another benefit of playing action games on computers or phones. They say these games are a good outlet for people’s violent instincts which might otherwise have manifested themselves in real life.

But a gamer who is into action games doesn’t play because of these expert opinions. They play because they enjoy the thrills of good action games. Because of the wide variety of games available, we thought of making a list of the best action games. We are about to set foot into a new year, 2019. So let us tell you which 3D action games we liked best from 2018. While making this list, we selected only those games that are free to play. We also restricted our list to games that can be played directly on the browser without the need to download anything. Here is our top eight:

1. Madalin Stunt Cars 2

Unlike the fast racing cars of other games, you get to drive stunt cars here. All the cars and the landscape are in 3D. You can choose from as many as 34 cars. You can simply enter and begin your game after choosing your settings. The space bar lets you start, and the arrows let accelerate, slow down and turn. As we said, it is just not a test of speed. You need to complete stunts to progress and win. The completion of stunts is your only priority here.

Another amazing alternative to action games is puzzle games which are ideal to enjoy in free time. Find your favourite here: https://medium.com/@reidcharles/the-...w-2318a309ed4c

2. Crazy Pixel Apocalypse

Allow the fullscreen mode to play this game

Depending on where you are playing from, you are asked to choose between three servers at the start. These three servers are in Europe, America, and Asia. Because it is a multiplayer game, you can choose between multiplayer deathmatch and single player deathmatch options. You have a good variety of weapons to choose from. Once you enter, you need to enter your name and choose the room you will play in. You also get the option of creating your own room and inviting others to play with you. You are the shooter in this First Person Shooter (FPS) game.

3. Fort Shooter Simulator

This is more of a simulation game than an action game, but the action in it is top class. Your goal in this game is to build a fort using the resources you can collect. You get to collect guns and ammunition as well. Your soldiers would need to be trained before they can protect your fort. The one thing that we found a little disconcerting is that it took us a little time to get the hang of the game controls.

4. Gangster Contract Mafia Wars

You will like the realistic feel of the graphics and sound.

You will like the realistic feel of the graphics and sound in this game. You get to play a professional hitman in this game. The game is set in a modern city which has a number of rival gangs. You take up contracts for killing rivals of other gangs. As you cross levels progressively, your rival gangs also pick up expertise and become shrewder. That makes your contract progressively more difficult to execute. As your protagonist moves around the city, you get to pick up weapons to make your job easier.

5. Short Life

This is a game full of sporting action. You are faced with a number of obstacles to clear. If you do not watch out, you can face bodily harm. You need to complete all 16 levels in this game. As you gain in proficiency and cross each level, the obstacles also become more difficult. The actions that are allowed to you in this game are to jump, run, and crouch. You can also hold on to things to avoid the traps. Things like spikes, mines and other impediments might be very damaging for you. You can play this game on your desktop. If you have chosen to play on your smartphone, then you can play it only on the Android OS. This game is also good for people with good skills. So, don’t miss skill games designed to test you - play now, free and online.

6. Fighter Aircraft Pilot

Your chance to become a pilot

Ask any young boy what he wants to grow up as. It is very likely that he would say ‘I want to be a pilot’. The thrill of this profession makes it so attractive. This game allows you to imagine you are a pilot. You can either play on free fly mode or on specific missions. There are six different aircraft you can choose from, including the F35. We recommend that you start off with a few free flies and get the hang of the controls. After that, you can graduate to the missions.

7. Shell Shockers

You might find it a tad amusing when you first start to play this game. The protagonist is a humble egg. The egg wields a variety of weapons. These weapons help it to overcome enemies. It also acts as a defence from other rivals. You will need to create a login id before you can play this game. This would give you access to the complete list of features. These features include colours on the eggshells, performance tracking, and different hats for the egg. There are also different skins for your weapons.

8. Air Wars 2

The Air Wars 2 game gives you a taste of those dogfights all over again.

Those with an interest in World War history would have heard of the term dogfight. It referred to the ranged combat indulged in by fighter aircraft while airborne. The Air Wars 2 game gives you a taste of those dogfights all over again. The graphics and sound are so realistic that you will easily get lost in the game. You can become part of an existing team or create your own team. Each team carries its flags which it must defend. When you take down rival planes, you also attempt to take down their flags. You can play free online games free like this game at Manti Games now!

Conclusion:

We are sure that the above 8 games cover every possible genre of 3D action games. You can choose from military action, sports action, gangster action and so many others. You can go ahead right now and begin playing. There is neither payment required nor any download necessary.

Yes, this should be normal, at least, if you turn a midi track to solo or mute. The DAW then loses the midi info and has to wait until the midi track(s) get unmuted again and let the "note on" signal thru.

On the other hand muting and soloing in mcp (mixer) shouldn't behave like this. But in Reaper it does. I remember that in FL-studio only the level meter get dimmed and only the audio gets muted. I think that's way more logical because in a real hardware studio it would be the same.

But I'm pretty sure its easy to achieve this behavior by using scrips or custom actions. You only need a shortcut or button to turn the level -inf db.

Hope that helped a little bit.

Greetings
Eli

Think about Midi more like playing keys on a piano. Every note you insert is equal to one keystroke. A dropped keystroke (even by muting it) only continues to play, when struck again. Thats the reason why unsoloed tracks don´t continue to play...
