Default CC ramp events, first event cant be edit

Hi.
Last selected event can be edit but first not.
It is same when events are not selected.
Simply first clicked event from left is bypassing click and drag for ramp draw modifier.
Thanks for attention.

Start dragging to the left of that first event instead of directly over it.

Thank you for response.
Nope. I have other (default setting) for dragging out of events this one:

so when I try to start drag before when events selected:

same when unselected:

I do not want to make all modifiers to ramp to draw a ramp. This should work and do not work properly so should be fixed I think.

Hey-looking at the ramping img >it appears you have something before--another cc?? there is a handle showing that...?
I definitely agree cockos need to reacheck the cc's though-- an eg; being reasamplomatic -the cc values linked to dials do not match! eg; > setting modwheel to the release dial is creating 'issues' enough to reach for tissues..
The current system is clunky tbh-- the cursor positions are shown in top left which is not really helping much.. :/

Yes there was other cc's before but it doesn't metter as if there wouldn't be any the issue is still here. By first event I meant edited segment of events, precisely first mouse hovered and dragged event...

Also found next bug. When editing many CC's like about 150 and zoom out we can't edit some last CC events and it is zoom dependent. More zoom out, more last CC's can't edit.

That doesn't happen over here...

Is Zoom dependent events per quarter note drawing enabled in Preferences->Editing Behavior->MIDI Editor?

Sure I can but isn't it bad about Reaper that its strength is customizability and functions and best way to work with Reaper is to not use those?

If you want dense CC streams anyways, using zoom-dependent density doesn't make a lot of sense either way...

TBCH- the perfect solution for {me} would be if cockos just used existing envelopes in them cc lanes instead-- these draw bars have always been clunky and a real pita to edit!! it's actually 1 thing i never did 'like' to begin with reaper-- the current envelope system would be a lot more user friendly i think!
Please cockos- we all LOVE you.

Post #6 I can reproduce. It happens by the edge of the item.

Post #1... Here, it seems to matter if mouse cursor point is slightly left or right of center of event bar. Still within bar, just left of center, and it works. At about 0:14 it looks like you click there, but maybe not...

Thanks for effort.
Yes, when dragging from very left edge of event it seems work but usually when editing it would be kind problematic to aim so precisely.
