Default Fade Ins/Fade Outs v5.4

I know you can click and drag fades on either side of a track but when I do that on say a guitar track with Amplitube, the fade seems to only affect the plugin. So in other words, I hear the amp sim fade out or in and am then left with only the direct guitar signal.

Does this mean I can only fade guitars (with amp plugs) using the volume envelope?

Thanks.
Dave

Can you attach screenshots of these fades and your current Track Setup/Routing?: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=140670
