I'm lost ... what is this? we have the 5.71 rc2 and then on lando... we have this and not 5.71....

Is 5.75 a separate branch of development or the release of 5.71 just renamed?

5.75 is just 5.71rc2 with extremely minor changes, the 5.71 name was getting stale

thanks for that info... how about 5.71 and a half...

OK now it is clear and I'd assume it is very nearly ready to go official?

Would have suspected a mega surprise release with this large version jump, containing ARA2 support and Area Selection.
(Just kidding ofcourse )

No, the icc18 versions will only be on landoleet.org. The plan is to make them the official builds at some point in the future (possibly 6.0).

I think I worked it out - just saw two threads about MPL's Info Bar script, the earlier version would only dock to a certain minimum height, and now smaller sizes are allowed. Nice. And a super cool script by MPL

super minor "bug" related to

Quote:
+ Subprojects: copy grid/framerate settings when moving tracks/items to subproject
some project settings are not coming over to the subproject.
- Metronome turns on
- envelope points move with media items turns off

these are opposite of the source project and my default template.

Where do I set the color for dividing the grid for tracks? I found the one for the empty arrange area but it doesn't affect the track backgrounds.

Colors below the tracks/arrange =

Empty arrange view area
Empty arrange view area vertical grid shading (this is the new one)

Colors in the arrange =
Track background (odd tracks)
Track background (even tracks)

Since installing this new version, I noticed that my midi track (I only use it for ezdrummer) has gained a line of velocity bars below the notes. Is this a new option or is it permanent? I'm not hugely bothered, I've actually found it useful already.

I hope there's an option to turn this off. I find it a tiny bit obnoxious

We'll put out a 5.751 release shortly that fixes the PDC issue, and doesn't display MIDI note velocity in the arrange view.

It seems more unstable than 5.70, I have random crashes that I never had before while I'm working in midi editor on multiple tracks.

How can I help you, what can I send to you?

It would be nice if you could make it an option, maybe on the right click menu.

Right-clicking time selection in marker lane still moves the cursor...

Otherwise, nice updates. Thanks.

don't think this is a bug, not a 5.75 bug anyway. pretty sure MIDI is muted during preroll and count-in. It's not if using time selection auto-punch.

I've got a VST3 stereo plugin (Waves SSL) that no longer works properly from previous projects - I see the GUI, but nothing is happening. The mono version works ok. It is a mono track, so I switched it to the mono plugin.

PC is good to know when it happens from the arrange view, I wouldn't want it removed.

Until 5.70 there was a very thin vertical line. However, I propose an option to un/select it.
