Default BSOD under Windows XP

I am trying to get Reaper to work under Windows XP with my Creamware Scope Professional card, but I keep on getting those dreaded blue screens of death. This happens both with the official release as well as the beta. Does anyone else have this problem?

Nope - scope works fine here (I don't use xtc so I can't say about that). Is your scope project set up properly?

Yes. I also have no problems whatsoever with other applications, like Sonar.

When does the bsod occur? Have you changed the drivers within reaper to scope asio?

It happens right after Reaper starts up. Suddenly I get a BSOD. I also changed the drivers to Scope ASIO, so I am really at a loss here.

So nobody has a solution or any idea whatsoever? Then I am afraid I will have to remove Reaper from my system permanently. Too bad, it seemed like a nice program, but it just won't work for me. Bye all!

Have you tried running the reset to factory defaults startup?

But otherwise, I haven't a clue. It's always just worked for me - I can't remember the last time I had an audio-related bsod. Sorry that it hasn't worked out for you, though. reaper has similar routing prowess to scope so they suit each very well...

Default Creamware SCope BSOD Problem

HI There Motormind,
If you still look in on this forum, I had the same issue as you.
The fix was to unclick "Allow projects to override device sample rate" on the bottom of the Audio/Devices page in Preferences.
SCOPE wont allow the project to set the samplerate and any request to do so makes Reaper crash.
Hope this helps you to get up and running
regards
