Default Free Beats Browser/Player..?

I'm looking for something to just browse thru my MIDI drum patterns in real time. I want to hear them quickly before importing them. I realize that the XLN demo does this, but it's such an intensive instal. that I don't want to use that.

It doesn't have to sound great, but I would like to hear the patterns. Then, once imported, I'll use the drum machine of my choice.

Anyone have any ideas? I want a LIGHT download and instal.

Thanks.

EZ Player Free from Toontrack.. but no longer available.

EZ Player Pro is the new version, but it's $49. It rocks, though.

Any reason not using Reaper's media explorer ?

If you have a track selected, it plays "through" that track, if you have a VSTi loaded there.

Yes, cool... I just tried it out. Right under my nose... like most things. Thanks a lot!
