Default Destination: Home and Arise

Hi there. Wasn't sure if I should dare to share these songs but I am kinda happy with these. Tried to get my son on the vocals for 'Arise' but he wasn't too keen on doing it so I did it myself. I wrote the songs around 2005 and finally I recorded them in my toyish home studio.

Destination home:
Really nice pop song. Good mix.
I could hear som backing vocals in several places.
Arise:
Liked that Bass solo!! Tears for fears vibe.

I do doubt that your studio is toyish, it sure doesn't sound like it.

Thanks for the kind words country mate msundh! :-)

I used EZdrummer for the drums and on the bass i used the highly praised BassProfessor mkII - gotta lova that plugin! It does so much for the electric bass!

About my "studio" - very low budget. A cheap condenser mike, scarlett 2i4 and a intel NUC D54250WYKH mounted on the back of my screen :-).

For the pop song I used a Cimar jazz bass (fender jazz copy from the 70s) and for the other song an Ibanez BTB 5-str.
