Default Don't see option to arm Reaper track spdif Focusrite 6i6

I see some old posts on this but don't find my answer. I am just trying to set up two tracks through spdif for the first time. When I right click the record button in the track I don't see anything. I am able to hear sound coming out of the spdif from my Focusrite. Thanks

Assuming you included the inputs in the range selected in your audio device settings, they should be visible in the drop down lists you would get for mono/stereo/etc if you had taken a screenshot of the dropdowns themselves.

Are they not there?

I don't see anything with spdif on it. At first I didn't hear anything coming out of those spdif's in the Focusrite. I opened up Scarlet Mixcontrol and changed sync source to spdif and then I heard what was going into the spdif channel. Thanks

I saw on the bottom of Scarlett Mixcontrol the option to enable spdif 1 to output 1. I did that but still don't get the option to use the spdif signal on any tracks in Reaper?

What is the range of inputs you have enabled in your Reaper audio device settings (first and last)? Does this include the SPDIF inputs? I'm assuming you are using ASIO drivers. I ask because I couldn't see my ADAT inputs the other day and that was because I hadn't enabled them.

What inputs can you see if you click on the drop-down list for mono inputs when you are setting up the input for your track?

I came across this post https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=146265
When I went to preferences/device, as shown in picture, the first time everything was blank and I couldn't select "first" "last" because when clicked there was nothing to choose. Then I looked at the box above and saw that focusrite asio driver wasn't selected. There were other items there I don't have like thunderbolt asio and voicemeeter asio. So I selected the focusrite usb asio, selected spdif as last in the section underneath and then I could go to the track input and finally spdif was available as a selection. Thanks!
