Default Use the FX Browser approach for the Media Explorer

The FX Browser users a relatively standard browsing tree for 'VST folders'
-- tree structure on the left-hand side.
-- folders contents (possibly filtered) on the right,
-- collapsible / expandable folders

Why or why cannot this approach be used for the Media Explorer? It would help a lot.

I think it would be especially useful for nested databases.

On Windows, it is possible to replace the browser view with Windows Explorer, but Explorer's tree view is not accessible, which is somewhat snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, imo...

So yes, plus one for a folder tree view, and I could almost settle for the FX browser view but it would depend on the implementation.

Navigation is a little more tricky than in most other file managers I've used.

For that reason I likely do not use it a lot for direct file access, but drag'n'drop from outside sources. I do use it for the database feature.

Are you sure replicating a tree structure is the only way to improve it ?

What exactly is the problem you want to solve ?
