C'est ce que je fais toujours avec les prereleases : install portable dans un dossier dédié C:\Reaper Pre. Aucun risque ainsi de perturber le Reaper principal.

Teté sous mac. Ca ne semble pas fonctionner. Lorsque j'ouvre un editeur de score tous les caractères de notes sont remplacés par des gros pâtés.
Mais peut être qu'un truc m'a échappé. D'autres personnes ont elles eut l'occasion d'essayer sous mac ?

Je pense que c'est parce que la fenêtre est dézoomée.
Essaie de zoomer pour agrandir les "patés".

Une question.
Dans la fenêtre notation, je vois bien l'edit cursor.
Par contre le play cursor (la barre qui suit le jeu quand je fais play) est réduite à un tout petit point presque invisible.
Je voudrais voir une barre bien visible.
Une solution?

Ça ressemblerait plutôt à une police inadéquate ou non installée, non ?
Du moins avec Windows ça peut arriver, sous mac je ne sais pas comment se se gèrent les polices...

Dans les premières versions il pouvait y avoir un problème de police mais ceci a été résolu il y a déjà un moment. La police est intégrée à Reaper donc il n'y a rien besoin d'installer. Sur mon mac ça fonctionne parfaitement, on pourrait voir un screenshot pour mieux comprendre le problème?

Oui mais la 5.16rc1 est apparue depuis hier et ne contient rien à propos des partitions.
Ils ont tout pris des mise à jour de la 5.20 (tout sauf partition) et ont l'air de continuer sur la 5.16. . .
Donc, c'est pas demain la 5.20 avec partition!

Les dev ont bien compris qu'ils ne pouvaient pas se contenter d'un demi éditeur. À mon avis, ça va déchirer. J'espère qu'il n'y aura pas trop de bugs.

Je vais faire une install portable sous Mac et je te réponds. Je ne suis pas utilisateur de partoches.

D'ailleurs au final, on sait si ça sera juste une alternative à l'éditeur MIDI, ou s'ils veulent en faire un éditeur de partition complet, capable de sortir un document professionnel, un concurrent de Sibelius par exemple ?

Là, pour avoir l'equivalent de Sibelius, on n'est plus dans le meme creneau. Dejà, s'ils arrivent à avoir un editeur de score comme celui de l'ancien Notator (avec lequel je faisais des scores tout à fait acceptables ainsi que des partitions), ce sera bien. Pourquoi trop se compliquer la vie ? Ce qui sera utile est un bon Score Editor et pas une usine à gaz, du moins c'est ce que je pense.

Je n'y connais rien en travail sur partition. J'ai fait ça à l'arrache pour simplement démonter qu'une lecture approchée génère des confusions visuelles .

Aucun probleme, cette capture montre deja qu'on peut travailler sur des notes, meme s'il y a des imperfections, ce qui est un grand plus sur Reaper pour quelqu'un comme moi qui a plus l'habitude de bosser sur des notes plutot que sur un piano roll, sauf, bien sur, pour modifier des longueurs de notes.
Il reste à esperer qu'il mettront un "quantize" d'interpretation du score afin que ça soit plus lisible avec moins de silences affichés et plus conforme à une ecriture conventionnelle.

Merci . Du coup je suis heureux pour les Reaperistes (riens et riennes) qui attendent ça depuis longtemps.
Etant donné la jeunesse du développement de ce score edit, on ne peut s'attendre à la perfection mais en considérant la réactivité des devs et les MAJ fréquentes et gratuites, ça ne peut que s'améliorer. Cela va aussi permettre à de nombreuses de personnes que je connais de switcher, à court ou moyen terme, sur notre cher DAW.

C'est certain. Ce grand plus va placer Reaper dansla cour des grands avec un gros avantage sur les autres: sa modularité et surtout sa faculté d'adaptation et de customisation aux besoins de chacun. Et avec des gens comme Reno pour nous trouver des templates de la folie, ça va vraiment le faire !
