[Bug] Peak meteres reaper (?)
Hola, antes de postearlo como bug quiero ver que onda acá.
El tema es que los medidores de pico de reaper dan mal aparentemente miren la imagen:

Hola, estoy usando traductor Google lo siento por los errores.
Yo es probable que la lectura máxima de TT Dynamic Range Meter es más de la muestra. Eso significa que será más precisa la lectura del valor máximo del sonido después de que se vuelva a construced en su convertidor D / A.
No es un error, es sólo que los medidores de pico de Reaper sólo te digo el valor más alto de la muestra. Esto no siempre es el mismo que el pico más alto de una onda re-construida.

Hi timlloyd!
The same happens with Voxengo SPAN 2 and many others meters...
in the screenshot is js tonegenerator, wet mix is -1 dB, the plugin meter show -1 db too, but the reaper peak meter shows -4.1 dbfs.
Español:
lo mismo pasa con otros medidores, con SPAN 2, etc...
si miran la imagen tambien verán el plugin "JS tonegenerator" donde el dry es -1dB, el medidor del mismo plugin muestra -1dB, tambien TT dynamic ranger muestra -1db pero el medidor de reaper muestra -4.1 db.

Ah, sorry I think I got confused about which readings were on which plug-in. That does look like something is going wrong with the track metering.
Does the peak reading stay the same if you change any of the VU settings in preferences? It shouldn't change while metering a sine tone, but it might be worth checking.

Not a bug, you either have track's pan law (right click on pan) or default
(global for all tracks, in project settings) pan law set to -3.0 dB. Set it to
0 if you do not wish to lose gain when pan is in center.

Para los que no dominan el inglés. La solución que EricM dió fue la más acertada, el pan law del proyecto de pylorca estaba en -3.0dB y por ello el -4.1 de pico. Cuando realicen pruebas de medición, recuerden mantener el pan law en 0.0dB para evitar valores erróneos, créanme, me ha pasado un montón de veces jeje.

Que tal hace algun tiempo detecte ese problema pero la verdad pense que era yo el que estaba haciendo una mala lectura, estaba comparando las lecturas peak y rms y vi varias diferencias, no segui con el asunto por que empece a leer con medidores de terceros por alguna razon y pensaba que era yo el que no sabia interpretar la lectura..
