Default It Might Be You - Cover of the Tootsie Theme

My wife and I just completed this cover of the great Dave Grusin tune It Might Be You.

Enjoy.

This was a great! I think I feel a genuine, touching energy from your relationsship listening to this. Thank you!

I'm no expert, productionwise, but a little more 'in your face', regarding the sound, would perhaps be an improvement. For example the bass, compared to the original's a bit on the weeak side - as I hear it.

But all over... great work, must've taken some time?

Let me know if You want to part with Your wife

Thanks for listening. I've gotten pretty quick at doing these. Was in a bit of a creative rut last year and decided to do a cover per month. I did some Rippingtons, Yellowjackets, Metro (the jazz group), Grusin, etc... I think this one took a couple of weeks to get all the parts down. ISOL8 is my friend for critical frequency listening. I'm a bass player and so the keyboard parts are built up with a lot of midi overdub.

As for my spouse, we've been at this marriage thing for almost 40 years so I think I'll keep her!!
