Incognito Is Not Good

Just a quick general comment:

I have wanted to PM various people recently on here and discovered that they have PMs turned off in their user prefs.

Now it may well be that by coincidence I only wanted to message people with it turned off, but I am beginning to suspect that OFF is the default setting, so IF you fancy getting the odd PM, which could well be to do with FREE STUFF, FREE BEER or even something to do with Reaper, turn the blighters on.

I just checked my profile & it is switched on - so that must be the default. It's not something I ever use on a forum so I will not have changed it (once my attention was drawn to a PM that I'd received a year earlier

).
