Default Seeking Russian Speaker

I am looking to make contact with a Russian speaker to help with a project I am working on. It is a piece currently called 'Heroes of the Deep' and is a kind homage to the Kursk. It is an electronic track and I have written a few lines, like a poem that would be spoken and I think I would like a Russian version and an English version.

Firstly - as I have no way of gauging, would this be considered bad taste or upsetting in anyway to Russian people? The last thing I want to do is offend.

Secondly, would anyone (has to be a male) like to record the spoken lines in Russian?

Hopefully, there is some interest.

In my opinion thinking in terms of "Russian people" and the like is counterproductive unless it's meant to be offensive to the national pride (which is still a primitive and obsolete concept and a sentiment as far as i'm concerned)

I guess that was like writing in "seeking English Speaker" thread something about "English people"... You know, not all people which natively speak English are from England. In that schema "Russian people" is even stronger, almost like "British people".

BTW I do not know how profession result should be. I am not pro speaker nor singer, but if you want something to start with send me PM and I will record the text

If you don't mean to offend in the first place, if your intentions are pure and sincere i don't see what there is to be wary about even if someone somewhere finds it offensive, something certain Russians are indeed prone to especially when dealing with the so called Westerners

And since you cannot poll for the opinion of all the proverbial "Russian people", i guess all there's left to do is doing you and what you feel is right

Are you Russian?

There's a simple solution to your problem, add me to the ignore list (need instructions?), or just don't come in here.

Very cool. Like ivan said, try the Russian section. What you are looking for is a Russian voice over talent. For example, this guy.

Did you see The Command (2019) on Netflix? Terrific movie, based on the story of the Kursk.
