I'm looking for opinions on the best free Tremolo VST for (mostly) guitar. TIA!

+1 for the Pacheneg tremolo. Lots of useful options yet easy to nail what you want.

+1 for pecheneg tremolo. Does a great job, and sometimes the brain will hear it as "vibrato"! Try it on sustained notes and then automate the rate so it slows down a little towards the end of the sus!

Automation of the rate and/or depth adds that extra depth of realism and interest.

A good freebie indeed.

handmade with reapertools
jsfx Volume/Pan Smoother with the volume parametermodulated via lfo and intensity parametermodulated via incoming audio (the lower the more tremolo)

shame on me not using the tremolo-jsfx , eh..
