"Fold to takes" command like Bitwig

Bitwig has this great feature I don't think any other daw has: once you record a long file, you can fold it down to takes of equal length.

There's nothing like this currently in Reaper, correct?

I know you can loop record, this obviously is different-creating takes after the fact.

Would be a cool addition...

Yep, just saw a video in Bitwig https://youtu.be/m3j5qeBVvHw?t=177.
Seems to be a combination of this script and the new comping system. So looks like it's possible with a custom action that uses this script and then converts takes to lanes for comping.
