Default Master Solo and Mute

I come from Samplitude and i miss a master solo and mute function. I know that there is a solo and mute on the master track, but thats not what i vote for.

There should be a master solo and master mute button, not on the master track, cause this isnt always visible. Of course in Samplitude it is on the master track, but it is always visible there.

What should the buttons do? These should switch on or off all soloed and muted tracks in one click. Example: If the tracks 1, 3, and 5 are soloed, the master solo button unsolos these 3 tracks, with the next click on the master solo button, the same tracks (1,3,5) are soloed again. master solo button works like an on off switch for all current soloed tracks. Master mute button should behave in the same way, but with the track mutes.

If you want your master track to be visible in the TCP:
"view",
"master track".
Hope it's what you need.

And, right click on any solo button.
You'll find some options there.

Add these sws actions to a toolbar, maybe your main toolbar...

sws: toolbar solo toggle
sws: toolbar mute toggle
sws: toolbar arm toggle
sws/s&m: toolbar - toggle track envelopes in touch/latch/write

Yup those SWS actions are what you want.

TBH I don't understand why there is a solo and mute button on the master. If you are using multiple hardware outs it makes sense to control them individually, but the hardware outs other than 1/2 don't appear as Master tracks individually so it's only a small functionality. :?

Every track can be a 'master' track, so to say. If you route them to hardware output channels (via track io-window). In this case the solo/mute buttons on the master track make sense.
