Device setup: WASAPI in Reaper
Although my audio interface (a Steinberg UR28M with 6 out channels) has a USB driver, I have a project where I do not want to use Asio.
The Wasapi driver comes up in the Reaper Devices list, and I can set up 6 output channels (or 4 or 3) in the Preferences panel.
So far so good.
Problem: But, in Track output routing I am only offered two channels. Why ?
I attach 4 screenshots of the Device Setup and the Routing matrix, showing what happens with Asio and with Wasapi.
