6.13 - MIDI Overdub not working when item is external midi file

Hey guys,

sorry but I think I found one more bug.
I wanted to overdub some existing midi items and nothing was recorded at all.

I first checked everything is set up correctly: Record armed, Midi input set, Track monitoring working. Record without overdubbing (same track): Worked fine. After enabling overdub again - nothing.

Finally I recorded a new in-project midi item (on same track) and overdubbing worked fine. Then I saved it as MID file, went into item properties and used Choose new file to use the new MID file I had just created.

And it happens again: Nothing is being recorded even though I get feedback from record monitoring.

Can you confirm? Is this a known behavior / bug?
