Default Plugins missing in Quick Add menu sustom folders

I noticed there are many plugins missing in Quick Add menu.

I have several custom folders created in Browse FX. All those folders appear also in Quick Add menu, but plugins in them are missing, although they are there in Browse FX window.

It seems that only VST2 plugins are missing.

See example of both lists.

My temporary solution is the following:
1. create new custom folder TEMP in FX Browser.
2. go through custom folders, one by one, select all fx in folder, and Add them to TEMP folder.
3. remove all fx from current custom folder, so that it is empty.
4. go to TEMP folder, select all fx there, and Add them back to previous custom folder.
5. delete all fx from TEMP folder
6. repeat for every custom folder.

Basically, you select all fx in folder, add move them to TEMP folder, then move them back.

In this way I was able to get all FX to show also in Quick Add Menu. Hopefully developers will look into this, so that custom folders fx are properly synced.

I've had hair pulling issues with missing plugins this release. I'm patiently waiting for the next one. Not sure how this got missed! I have to close Reaper, remove the plugin, open Reaper, Clear Scan/Recache, close Reaper, add back plugin and start Reaper again. I don't even know is missing often. I've done this workaround for at least a dozen plugins now, and I'm sure some are still missing.

I use mostly vst2 because I use a lot of free plugins and they don't always have vst3 distributions yet. Would love for this bug to be prioritized.

Update from me. I went through deleting a few out of date plugins and starting Reaper and clear cache/rescanning.

After like the 4th or 5th time, Reaper finally threw an error during the Rescan. I removed that synth and lo and behold the rest of it cleared.

Is reaper swallowing errors on re-scan? This is kind of a big deal. I would really love a user easily loadable re-scan log available every time we do it. A silent error is a huge deal because weeks later I might go looking for a plugin and not even realizing whats missing.

Anyhow. Thanks, Still love Reaper, just a minor spat is all.
