Default Fade doesn't copy on audio

This one has been driving me crackers for years and today I realised exactly what is happening. See the image - https://ibb.co/dVgsFc

When copying an audio part that has a fade by ctrl-dragging to the right the fade is not copied (as shown in the image).

BUT! - this only happens when the part is in the loop points (area selection), it works as expected if the part is not in the loop points.

This has caused me all kind of problems when arranging songs and dragging/copying multiple parts and whole sections of songs.

Any idea about this?

Never have this problem, and I don't succeed to reproduce:

A screen capture and screenshot of your mouse modifier could help.

Thanks for mentioning mouse modifiers.

I will take a look in there and see if it's something I can change. Will update later.

I can reproduce this every time without fail. But you might need to use more than 1 audio clips as I have been today, like drag-copy 4 or 8 clips with fades, have auto-crossfade enabled and left and right loop points covering the selection. However...

I HAVE FOUND THE CAUSE!!

It is the auto-crossfade that does it. If I disable auto-crossfade I do not get this problem.

I can produce this every time by switch the auto-crossfade on and off. Is this a bug? It is very annoying.

Another point is that not all the clip fades get messed up. It might be only 1 or 2 of the copied clips but it can also mess with the fades of the original clips too!!

I checked mouse modifiers and it is simply set to copy. Nothing more.

Here is what happens with auto-crossfade enabled. I will leave it off now but I hope this could help other people that have struggled with this.
