Hello. I've sinned again.

Once again I've contacted Liku, my "bro" in Peru, through Fiverr; I sent him these lyrics, the melody and the base. He, for a modest price, sent me the vocal tracks. The rest has been a bit of picking at some music that I've been listening to for a while with the result that I present here. I've tried to make the percussion and bass sound dense and that the voices don't invade the whole space but at the same time are protagonists.
For the images of the video I've used Pixbay and for its "editing" CupCut.
I'd like to know your opinions, of any kind, about the song, the mix, the "production"...
I'd just like to add that no Artificial Intelligence has been mistreated in the creation of this song.

Nice composition and the video isn't bad.

Interesting what can be done with AI these days.
The voice still sounds a bit mechanical but has a good airy quality to it. Could pass for a real voice with too much autotune.

The kick drum seems a little too upfront.

Well, the original tracks have nothing to do with the outcome. I had to process a lot to get this sound: pitch correction, eq, comp, parallel, fx, automation...
He knows how to sing, the genre, second voices, adlibs... but doesn't have a good voice.

Hey, that's cool! I've never been a fan of reggaeton, but this beat sneakily evolving into D'n'B is something I have never heard before. I'm definitely going to experiment with this when I have some free time end of the month. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you so much. I like the way this genre has been evolving for a while: electronic, denseer, darker... I think there is room for different approaches, mixing different rhythms. The fact is that this use of D&B is nothing new, there are examples. I hope you enjoy your experiments with these sounds and keep us informed.

I was aware that you can combine D&B with a lot of stuff, but specifically this clever transition got me intrigued. I'm not sure if my experiments get to a point where I'd pester the public with them, but who knows

Not sure I'm listening to the right file - I wasn't able to access the youtube, went to the soundcloud link and listened to 'Punto medio'. Listening on HD650s eq'd to harman target. Your mix has a really nice, meaty bottom end - thick and full, but not muddy.

You are right, "Punto medio" is the song indeed. I don't know what could be wrong with the link to the video. Glad to read your feedback about the bottom end, something I had focused on from my references, pivotal in the genre.

That just means that there's a lot of activity from your IP range. But that is on Google's/Youtube's side.

OK, that makes sense. I started using a VPN not too long ago, that's probably what's going on, never saw these things before VPN.

Haha, yes - that multi-track has certainly had a life of its own! I have plenty of other free multi-tracks out on the Cambridge Multi-Track Library, but for some reason "Bitter" seems to be far and away the most popular... and that is probably also the reason that song has by far the most streams on all platforms.

IMO, I have released MUCH better songs (and multi-track projects) since, but there you have it!

PS. I would really prefer to change my screen name here to FytaKyte, but it doesn't seem possible as far as I can see(?)....
