Default Apply item fades when rentering to new takes

I often chop up recorded voiceover into lots of short items in one track, and it's nice to clean the ends up with item fade-ins and fade-outs. Then I select all the items and "render items as new take", to give me lots of separate WAV files that I can pull into my video editor. This lets me slide them around to match the video story.

However, from what I can tell, the fades are ignored when rendering to new takes. Would be nice to have an option:

should be using this action instead

Item: Glue items, including leading fade-in and trailing fade-out.

Takes are inside items. fades are on edges of items. rendered takes can't include fades.

No, I don't want the rendered item to have fade elements on it, but I DO want the rendered WAV file to have the *result* of the fades on the original item.
