I'm still running the 4.x greymatter theme. Anyone aware of a more modern one, with similar color scheme (I don't like all those dark ones or bright ones with dark contrasty bits) and fitting on not-quite-fullHD screens? I'm wondering if I'm missing something using such an ancient one.

I keep switching Themes after awhile, cause i get bored in the end, looking at them.
However, i keep returning to CLogic (modified to my own likings).
Never been a fan of Reaper's own Theme.
I notice that many new Themes that pop up are dark.
I don't like dark, (makes me depressive lol), i like light (and flat !) Themes.

Still, dreaming about and hoping for a great Studio One v4 Theme to show up.
I find S1's GUI really attractive.

Just my 2 cents.

Have you looked at Hydra from Blankfiles? It's similar to Studio One in a lot of ways, especially the alternate transport layout. You would have to some tweaking under the hood, but it's not that hard to do with some trail and error:

It's time to look at the result of this poll again:

1 -- theme 6: --> 13 user (11 %)
2 -- theme 6 mod.: --> 25 user (22 %)
3 -- theme 5: --> 2 user (2 %)
4 -- theme 5 mod.: --> 17 user (15 %)
5 -- different theme : --> 59 user (51 %)

user total: 116 (100 %)

We see that 33% use theme-6 and still 17% stick to
them-5. So two thirds did a move from 5 to 6.

Reaper 6 standard theme and mods.
Partly owing to the 150% scaling option suiting my setup (and general design layout) this remains the best theme from a practical perspective.

The best of the new user themes we have seen so far are perhaps prettier than the vanilla 6 theme but the standard theme is easier to work with.
RADO and Commala dark themes are still the best alternatives in my experience.

JanneUniverse2014 or Blackmore.

I haven't found any newer themes that I like. I would prefer a color palette like Studio One 4 since I like darker grays and blue together.
I can't stand the default theme and I don't have the talent to make my own.

It's fun to look at all these graphical artworks!

Now 136 user have voted. The result is:

1 -- theme 6: --> 16 user (12 %)
2 -- theme 6 mod.: --> 30 user (22 %)
3 -- theme 5: --> 2 user (1 %)
4 -- theme 5 mod.: --> 22 user (16 %)
5 -- different theme : --> 66 user (48 %)

Statistically 136 votes are still too few, but nevertheless
the result consolidates:

Nearly half of all member use their very own theme (48%).
If we substract these - and only look at those who use
theme 6 or theme 5 or any derivative of 6 or 5, then it's
still the same picture:

Two thirds have chosen theme 6, whereas one third
still sticks to theme 5.

I use a modified, somewhat darker version of the Cubic Theme. Spent a lot of time tweaking it.

Would love to see someone do a total remake of Studio One 4 (like Cubic, iLogic..).

Thanks! But most of the props should go to cubic13 who provided an already very good remake of Cubase. I just went a bit nit-picky on some things to make it look exactly how I want. Here is the link to the original theme if anybody is interested: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=219523

Started with Paulie but ended up liking Tronic even more! Still learning to tweak everything to my liking. Hoping someday to make my own theme.

That Cubase theme sure looks nice! Would you mind sharing your tweaked version (with config)? I have a friend who's coming from Cubase, so this could help his transition.

Sure, here you go. If you have any difficulties to get it too look like on the screenshot feel free to ask me. The look depends on some preferences but don't know of the top of my head everything that I have changed.

After several months with Reaper, I worked on a theme that fits my workflow perfectly. The theme is based on the standard v6 theme, inspired by Logic Pro X and Ableton Live. I've been using it for a week now and am very happy with it!

I flirt with other themes but always come back to my hacked version of WT Imperial. Some of the aesthetics (icons) and UX definitely could use an improvement, but the contrast and basic visuals I find hard to beat with other themes.

At the risk of sounding old-fashioned, I still use the V3's efficient theme, which remains for me the clearest display for details, labels readability etc.

When I took the poll I was using smooth v6. But now I am back to the default V6 theme.
