Hey Scott, probably you are like me in that you first registered REAPER in Version 4.xx. Each registration only lasts for 2 major upgrades, so you have had all the v4.xx and all the v5.xx updates to date for free.

Now REAPER is up to V6.0 its time to pay for another Registration. But that will see you through to v7.99 before the next renewal. So probably good for at least another 4 or 5 years.

Money well spent I reckon.

cheers
rob

Version 6 just came out.

It means you either revert to version 5.99 (or older) or buy a license for Reaper 6 to Reaper 7.99.

I bought a new license of couple of days ago. Happy to contribute to ongoing development in my small way.

just checked

I bought Reaper in Feb 4 18 so my license should be good to v6.99

When 7 comes along maybe I will luck out and it will be the "comeback" of a useable well done Reaper...

Until now, I thought I was done at 5.99....

As long as you want to continue to use v4 or v5 your old license should still be good

lol, I'm pretty sure I'll forget all about the whole license thing by the time 7.0 rolls around in 5-10 years.

perhaps my real prob is being in a comfort zone.. Commala RS with a template done by Dave Keehl. with a laptop and an additional 34" it all fits very nicely. no contrast issues or conflicting colors.

If it works - don't fix it I suppose
