Default Customize Mixer View

Hi guys,
in order to use reaper with a touch screen while mixing live i would like to tweak the mixer view for more accessibility.

What i would like to do is to enlarge the fx slots in the mixer view so becomes easier to touch them. (see screenshot)

I am currently using the default_analog_v1.8.

It would be great if anyone could help me out!

I guess that you want to increase the fxlist and sendlist slots heights. There are two Walter commands for this, to be used in the rtconfig.txt file of the theme :

set mcp.fxlist.font [xf yf]
set mcp.sendlist.font [xs ys]

xf/xs : number of the WALTER font listed in the Theme development/tweaker window for, respectively, the fx slots and the sendlist ones.
yf/ys : in pixels, the height of, respectively, the fx slots and sendlist ones.

Strangely, these are not present in the Default_Analog_v1.8 rtconfig.txt file, which is why probably Reaper display the slots by default, at a minimalistic height of 14 pixels. So, I added these commands at the right places (I think...) to increase the slots heights to 21 pixels in the rtconfig.txt file that you can find in the attachment.

Just rename the original rtconfig.txt as something else (as a backup...) and add the one I have joined here. You can eventually find the modifications I did, searching for a ';--' string in a raw text editor and modify the height for something else than the 21 pixels stated.

Hope this will help...

Have you looked at triton reaper themes?

I saw on his site at one time he was working on a theme for touch screen.

Hi
starting from the Imperial and SoundStudio themes I created this mixer for my touch screen with long faders and bigger common buttons (see attachement).

Enlarging the fx area I think it's also possible.

You can change the font size in the rtconfig file. e.g:

for SENDS:
set mcp.sendlist.font [-1 20]

for FX:
set mcp.fxlist.font [-1 21]

For anyone looking on the master track it's:

set master.mcp.fxlist.font

and

set master.mcp.sendlist.font
