Default Detect if item is out of tune and correct?

When making sample-based music, sometimes samples can be a bit of out of tune (not a440) and I was wondering if there was a Reaper extension that could detect and correct the overall tuning of the item/clip? For the record, melodyne is excellent for polyphonic correction, but I'm just looking to simply detect how out of tune the clip is, and correct the entire pitch of the clip, not individual parts of the recording (although detection may require polyphonic harmonic fundamentals).

Yeah, that's more for monophonic material and would still require manual adjusting.

To clarify, I don't mean "out of key" but "out of tune" with just a simple one-click way of letting the maths detect and correct.

Would be good. I've used Audacity with one of those QM vamp plugins ("Tuning" ? it's on the laptop, I'm not). Has anyone ever ported something like this to reaper?

This reNOISE plugin changes a preferably monophonic sound to work in the key of C: http://forum.renoise.com/index.php/t...-30-easy-tune/

Same idea, but I'm just looking for something that can detect how out of general tune a piece of polyphonic music is, and pitch shift everything up or down by a few cents into A440 tuning.
