As requested by Stews in
this thread, here's one of my original songs that was recorded back in 1995. It was written as a challenge to myself to write a Country song, which is NOT my usual genre when writing.
This song was recorded on digital equipment of the time, but preserved on cassette. I converted it back to .wav format, and ran it through Reaper to clean it up a little, and fix the stereo field (many thanks to those who helped me in the previously mentioned thread!).
This song was my first attempt at making a serious recording worthy of airplay, but it didn’t quite reach that level. I hope to work with it a little more to see if it can be mastered well enough for distribution online.
As I wait for my vocal cords to recover from polyps, I am taking my old recordings and working with them. Here's the first one... enjoy! (or not, lol)
