Hmm. Basically END shortcut should take you to the end in MIDI editor, the action name is
View: Go to end of file. But it seems in Score mode the edit cursor will go to the end but the view stays the same. In regular Piano roll mode this action works like expected. Unless some setting is affecting this, it should probably be reported.
In the meanwhile, a custom action of
View: Go to end of file
View: Go to edit cursor
works also in Notation (Score) mode.
You can go back to start with HOME shortcut, the action is
View: Go to start of file. This works also in Notation. The MIDI editor transport END and HOME buttons should do all this as well, but the same END problem seems to be there too in Notation mode.

I use a custom unselect everything action which will clear all the selections.
Track: Unselect all tracks
Item: Unselect all items
Time selection: Remove time selection and loop points
Of course these actions could be combined other ways too to include/exclude stuff as you need.
