Default Render Items To Include Adding wav File To An Existing Track

Hello,

When rendering a score, is there a way to add rendered items to an existing empty track setup in the Tracks Panel?

I can see the option to "Add rendered items to new tracks in project" but not to an exisitng track.

I've created a template which includes a blank track with FX all set up. Presently, I render the track without any of the options to add to the project and then I manually add the rendered wav file into my blank track.

I'm hoping there's a way to do this at the time of rendering.

Thanks.

Add rendered items to new tracks in project will do exactly that, add them to the new tracks. If you already have all the FX set up, why not save them as a FX chain? Then when you have added the rendered items to the new tracks, you can just load in the saved FX chain?

Thanks xpander for your suggestions.

I thought I'd just share a great workaround when I posted a feature request to render to an existing track.

Use the option to render to a new track then use the keyboard numeric up or down key to move the rendered items up or down into the existing track with the fx added and setup on.

It works a treat. Thanks to karbonmusic for this tip.

Thanks to karbo and for you sharing the tip. Sure, that's another way to approach it.
