Default In the past 24 hours, Reaper has become unusable

I have no idea what is going on. Reaper is just crashing constantly in the past 24 hours. I have not installed anything or made any changes to make this happen.
This all started yesterday. I have reinstalled Windows (not clean install) and reinstalled Reaper trying to fix this problem with no results.
Just now I was just playing a project over and over to see if it would crash and it did some skipping, which it never did before. Then, as I was looking at something on a browser, it crashed.

Are you running an old plugin using the 32bit bridge?

Dodgy old plugin crashing the bridge is my guess.

Yeah, if you're using a 32bit version of an plugin the year 2017.... you're doing it wrong.

I can't think of a single plugin on the market that hasn't been updated to 64bit or a better alternative created to replace it.

AVOID 32BIT like the plague!!!!!!

In the past when I've seen a sudden burst of crashes when there haven't been any software changes, it often turns out to be a hardware issue: a failing hard drive, a memory stick going bad, a capacitor failing on your sound card, or even a power supply beginning to give up the ghost and causing power fluctuations that can cause all sorts of strangeness. (I've experienced every one of these at one point...)

If you can't narrow it down to a bad plugin or other software issue, it's likely a good idea to do some scans on the hardware. (Or swap in an older recording interface for a test, etc).

The "reaper_host32.exe" in the crash logs is what makes me think it's a dodgy bridged plugin.
